The coffee has the producers' name

Little by little does the coffee, from hand to hand

Little by little does the coffee, from hand to hand

At Aequitas, among many fulfilments in exporting coffee, one of them is the privilege of closely following up the entire journey that coffee undergoes from each farm until it reaches its final destination abroad. Traceability is the beginning of everything.

Better than that is participating in this process and testifying numerous hands and hearts that have touched the coffee in order to make it arrive where it is expected. From production – crop management, harvesting, and post harvesting – up to storing, preparing, loading and transportation there are hundreds of people working in a sequence until the coffee begin sailing the seas.

Every person who work in this logistics, from farms, cooperatives, office, warehouse, transportation, and port are like a gear that works due to this collective organisation.

As we know all the effort that is applied throughout this journey, Aequitas values every agent, but mainly the producers which sum up the beginning of everything. By having awareness of the origin, delivering coffees with their full names is a natural principle.

Therefore, we present coffees with the identities of those who made this movement happen.

Metaphorically speaking, we could say that coffee is the child and the producer is the father and mother, so it doesn’t make much sense naming someone’s else child, when considering driven values like transparency and contact.

Gratitude to everyone involved in this process from the beginning to the end, for trusting your children to us.
